WHEN: July 12-August 2, 2021. Zoom sessions 9-10 am (MT) July 12 and August 2. The rest of the course is asynchronous (on your own).

WHAT: In this virtual 1-credit class, educators will engage with proven Project Learning Tree (PLT) hands-on activities that foster young learners’ wonder and curiosity about the natural world as they safely take them outdoors to learn and bring nature into the classroom. Individual participants will choose to focus on PLT Environmental Experiences for Early Childhood, PLT Treemendous Science E-Unit for K-2^nd, or PLT Explore Your Environment K-8 Activity Guide (New!). They will leave with plans to use materials from the course with students both indoors and out, whether teaching in the classroom or somewhere else.

CREDIT: 1 optional professional development credit available from choice of BSU or NNU. $60 payable to the university. Idaho STARS hours also available.
